Dubrovnik Tour Experience

Coming to Croatia and not visiting Dubrovnik is the same as coming to Italy and not visiting Rome. Dubrovnik is an absolute must and for a reason! It is one of the most visited destinations in Europe!

Since it is the southernmost town in Croatia, we’ll start the tour early in the morning to make sure there’s plenty of free time to spend in Grad (The name that locals use for this town.) While on the bus, you’ll be able to enjoy the spectacular views on the Adriatic coast full of beautiful coves and islands along the way.

Upon arrival to Dubrovnik, we’ll will meet a local guide and start an hour and a half long walking tour through the streets of the historic center filled with buildings and monuments from the Renaissance and Baroque periods. You will walk through Stradun, which is the main street in the town leading to the large square with Orlando’s pillar (once used for public proclamations and punishments), to the gothic renaissance palace of Sponza following the famous Rector’s Palace as well as the beautiful church and monastery. What makes this town so special are defensive stone walls surronding all the town and protecting the freedom of the Republic of Ragusa through the centuries.

Afterwards, you’ll enjoy the free time to continue exploring this majestic town on your own. You could try some traditional food in one of the local restaurants or take plenty of photos from the Srđ Mountain, overlooking Dubrovnik. There are also beautiful beaches close to the centre of the town if you decide to take a swim in the Adriatic sea.
Dubrovnik will leave you speechless and you’ll be excited to come back again!
